Christopher Walsh: Hey, It’s Chris. We’re here at The Green Festival. I’m joined with Colleen.
Colleen: Hello.
Christopher: Colleen, why don’t you tell me a little bit about Batter Blasters.
Colleen: Well, what Batter Blaster is is it’s an organic pancake mix that comes out of a can, it’s really easy to use, our can’s 100% recyclable, and it’s not aerosol, so there are no toxins in the bottle.
Christopher: There are no toxins in the bottle at all?
Colleen: No, not at all.
Christopher: I love this idea.
Colleen: It’s actually just pressurized air. It’s really easy to use. You can make fun shapes, got the peace sign going here.
Christopher: This is adorable. And so, compared to other conventional batters, is this superior to others?
Colleen: Definitely! It’s 100% organic, you’re not going to find that, and even if you do, it’s not going to be coming ready-made like ours is, so this is kind of the best way to go.
Christopher: I love this idea. Is this something we need to refrigerate before we use…?
Colleen: Yes. It comes in the refrigerated section, you find it in the produce section at your local grocery store.
Christopher: I love this idea. So we’re just going to watch it cook. So why don’t you tell me some other ways that you’re green-friendly at your house.
Colleen: At my house? Well, I pretty much only eat organic, I’m a vegetarian, so—
Christopher: Sweet! So am I!
Colleen: Awesome! Yes! So, I try to turn off lights, tv’s, and keep the shades down when it’s sunny on the certain side of the house.
Christopher: I love that, because every little bit helps.
Colleen: Yeah, exactly
Christopher: Colleen, you’re great. So it’s just cooking away.
Colleen: Yeah, it’s cooking.
Christopher: So I can put anything on top of this, like butter and syrup, maple syrup, powdered sugar…
Colleen: Yup, you can put whatever you want on here, it’s awesome, you could actually mix in cinnamon, put chocolate chips in there, fruits, all sorts of things.
Christopher: I like that. Well, we’ve got a sample right here, while the peace sign is cooking, I thought maybe we could try it together.
Colleen: Yeah, let’s give it a shot.
Christopher: On camera, live.
Colleen: Live.
Christopher: Here we go, trying the Batter Blasters, is it better? Surprisingly delicious.
Colleen: It’s really good.
Christopher: And I love your recyclable cups.
Colleen: Made from sugar cane.
Christopher: You guys are all on top of it this year.
Colleen: Yeah, we are. We try.
Christopher: Hey, looks like we may be almost done, and it looks like the peace sign didn’t exactly…
Colleen: Doesn’t look like a peace sign anymore. We’ll fix that. Here we go.
Christopher: We’ll try it. Hey, before we go, why don’t we say a little peace, love, and green to the camera?
Colleen: Alright. Peace, love, and green!
Christopher: Hey, thanks a bunch Colleen, we appreciate it.
Colleen: Thank you. |
